The lack of digestive enzymes does not make us eat more

After the first, we continue with the second installment of the errors and fallacies of the Gabriel Method.

Digestive enzymes are substances in food that our body also generates necessary for the assimilation of nutrients. In chapter 12 of his book Gabriel says that we lack of digestive enzymes due to the current food processing, to modern farming methods, chlorine water, toxic and emotional stress. And that keeps us up nutrients in our cells therefore recommended to take (life) digestive enzymes before each meal, preferably vegetables.

But is it true that we all have a lack of digestive enzymes? No, this condition usually occurs in older people and quite times that suffer from a digestive condition: Gastritis, hiatal hernia, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. But I have not found any serious study or article that shows it to be a widespread problem, or that taking enzyme supplements will reduce the appetite. Neither Gabriel provides none in his book (will go), only this generic article on the subject.

This is a usual dynamic medical fallacies, take a specific dysfunction and make it a Pispas a common evil.
